The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has actually explained reports of a down evaluation of fuel rates credited to it on Wednesday as unproven.
NNPCL was responding to reports recommending a drop in pump rates for Premium Motor Spirit and Automotive Gas Oil as reported in some areas of the media (not PUNCH Online).
The Chief Communications Officer, NNPCL, Olufemi Soneye, eliminated the speculations in a declaration offered to reporters.
