Pakistan carried out an effective flight test of the Ababeel Weapon System on Wednesday, the armed force's media wing stated.
In a declaration, the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) stated, “Pakistan today performed an effective flight test of Ababeel Weapon System. The test flight was focused on re-validating numerous style, technical specifications and efficiency examination of various sub-systems of the weapon system.”
The launch was experienced by Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, senior officers from the Strategic Plans Divison and Strategic Forces Command along with researchers and engineers from Strategic Organisations.
The ISPR stated the rocket system was “focused on reinforcing deterrence and improving tactical stability in the area through the operationalisation of Full Spectrum Deterrence in the total construct of Credible Minimum Deterrence”.
On the celebration, the CJCSC valued the technical expertise, devotion and dedication of all those who contributed towards the effective test, the declaration stated.
It even more mentioned that President Dr Arif Alvi, caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kkar and the services chiefs praised all members of the Strategic Forces on the accomplishment.
