Investigators from the St Ann Police Division, together with professionals from the Counter Terrorism and Organized Crime Branch (C-TOC), are presently examining a case of burglary at the workplace of a hotel in St Ann.
Reports are that about 3am, Friday, a group of guys went to the hotel's workplace, required cash and continued to rob the night supervisor on task of an amount of money.
None of the visitors or other members of personnel on task at the place were hurt.
On leaving the properties, they approached a couple at eviction and apparently required cash. The couple declined their need and drove to the police headquarters to report the matter.
The guys fired, and left the facilities on foot. Nobody was hurt.
The private investigators have some preliminary leads in the event and are actively pursuing them.
The cops are asking anybody with info to call the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) Tip Line at 811, Crime Stop at 311, cops emergency situation at 119 or the nearby police headquarters.
